Auburn senior Madi Malone earned eighth place in the women's weight throw final with a second-round mark of 73-8 (22.45m) at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center in New Mexico. Malone became only the second female athlete in Division 1 indoor history to earn All-America first-team honors in the weight throw four times, joining Georgia's Jenny Dahlgren in 2004-07. Malone also took eighth in 2019 and 2022, along with fifth in 2021.
