Madi Malone, a senior at Auburn, became the first female athlete in program history to repeat as women's hammer throw champion with a sixth-round effort of 225-4 (68.69m) at the Southeastern Conference Outdoor Championships at LSU's Bernie Moore Stadium in Baton Rouge. Malone prevailed last year with a mark of 227-8 (69.39m) and became the first female athlete in the conference to secure back-to-back titles since Stamatia Scarvelis of Tennessee achieved the feat in 2018-19.
