Anthony Schwartz announces decision for AuburnPublished by
Speedster Anthony Schwartz selects Auburn By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor Anthony Schwartz of American Heritage FL, the nation's fastest high school sprinter in 2017 with a 100-meter time of 10.15, announced his college choice for Auburn on national TV on Thursday. Schwartz, who set the World U18 record and ran equal to the No. 5 performer in U.S. prep history, won the New Balance Nationals Outdoor title in the 100 after getting injured in the Florida Class 2A final. Schwartz is also a big-time football recruit and made his selection public at the Under Armour All-American football game. Last summer, he competed for the U.S. in the Pan Am U-20 Championships on the 4x100 relay.
