Madi Malone, a junior at Auburn, prevailed in the women's hammer throw at the Southeastern Conference Championships with a second-round mark of 227-8 (69.39m) at the Ole Miss Track and Field Complex in Oxford, Mississippi. Malone became the first Auburn female competitor to triumph at the conference final since Valentina Srsa in 2008.
